Daniel Berninger is a Washington, DC based independent communication architect. Daniel’s work started with the original assessment of VoIP at Bell Laboratories in 1995, technical contributions to the founding of Free World Dialup in 1996, and continued at VocalTec Communications where he led the first VoIP deployments at Verizon , HP , and NASA. He won a VON Pioneer Award as co-founder of the VON Coalition. Daniel also led the founding teams, created the business model, and recruited the CEO’s for ITXC (NASDAQ: ITXC/Tom Evslin) and Vonage (NYSE: VG/Jeffrey Citron).

John Abel, VP Development
With over 30 years of experience John is a seasoned executive in trade associations, trade shows, new business development and the telecommunication and broadcasting industries. Considered the architect who built the NAB convention into the premier event it is today, John’s entrepreneurial spirit has taken him from a Chairman and Professor at Michigan State University to USTelecom, with owning his own business in between. An author of more than 50 journal articles, books and research reports, he has been a consultant to numerous radio and television stations, cable systems, communications law firms and other telecommunications businesses. John is a distinguished speaker known worldwide for his informative and challenging presentations on new communication technologies and their impact on existing and established media.
